WHAT WE BELIEVE

• We believe in the one true God, all-powerful, all knowing, all present Creator of all things seen and unseen, who has revealed himself in three distinct yet unified personalities: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:14; John 1:1)

• We believe that Jesus is the redeemer sent by God, who died as a ransom for our sins, who was raised up from the grave in power, ascended into glory and sits at the right hand of God interceding for his body…the Church. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:21)

• We believe the Holy Spirit is a comforter, guide, sustainer, protector of the church and dwells within for salvation, for empowerment, and flows outward in irresistible witness of Jesus Christ. (John 14:26; John 14:16; John 16:5-16)

• We believe the Holy Scripture is the written revelation of the will and purpose of God and is the ultimate rule of faith and order in the church. (II Timothy 3:16)

• We believe it is the will of God that all men and women be saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit for power and victorious living. (Romans 10:9-10; John 14:17; John 14:20)

• We believe that spiritual gifts are given to the body of Christ in order to empower believers to witness, work and worship god in a manner that allows transformation to occur in the world. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

• We believe in water baptism as a sign of obedience and regeneration and the observance of the Lord’s Supper as a sign of a continuing remembrance of the suffering and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18; Mark 14:22-26)

• We believe in holiness of lifestyle and character. (1 Peter 1:16)• We believe and fellowship with all those of like faith and practice. (Psalm 133)
